JAYLEC - 12mm x 5m Flexible Loom Braid / Sleeve (Expandable Braided Sleeving)

This listing is for one 5 metre roll of 12mm braid.

Minimum OD: 8mm
Maximum OD: 20mm

Expandable Braid is a flexible cable management solution designed for bundling loose cables and wires into a protective "harness".  Braided sleeving helps to provide mechanical protection, meaning it prevents wear & tear to your cables and / or looms.

How It Works:
The braid will look like it "shortens" when you pull it wider.  This temporary reduction in length allows the internal diameter of the sleeve to expand in order to cover your cable(s).  As the sleeve contracts (shrinks) over your cables, some of its length will return.
The braid can conform to accommodate any irregularities in the size and shape of the cable harness bundle - often caused by things such as connection blocks, tape, additional wires, etc.
The sleeve is easy to install for both professionals & hobbyists, and is designed to prevent wires from "escaping".
An experienced automotive electrician may be able to pass individual cables through the sleeve to create "breakouts" at any point along the length of the harness.

NOT to be used as primary insulation.
